Honda CR-V – Full Mobile Car Detailing in Maple Bay (Interior + Exterior)

Mobile car detailing in Maple Bay for a Honda CR-V: full exterior hand wash, wax, and interior steam cleaning with UV protection.

A recent client from Maple Bay reached out to Mr. Suds Mobile Auto Detailing. She was looking for a professional car cleaning service that could come right to her driveway — no need to drive anywhere or wait in line.

She wanted a complete interior and exterior clean for her Honda CR-V before a family road trip.

We recommended our Standard Detailing Package — ideal for regular maintenance, deep cleaning, and resale prep. The appointment was scheduled for later that same week.

Exterior Detailing: Step-by-Step Process

We began with a full power wash to remove dirt, road film, and surface contaminants from the paint, wheels, and undercarriage. This high-pressure rinse ensures the safest preparation before any contact wash.

• Applied a thick layer of pH-neutral car shampoo using a foam cannon
• Performed a hand car wash using the two-bucket method and soft microfiber mitts — safe for clear coats and ceramic protection
• Rinsed thoroughly with clean water
• Applied a spray wax to enhance gloss and protect the paint
• Dried the vehicle with ultra-soft microfiber towels to eliminate water spots
• Cleaned all exterior windows and mirrors
• Detailed the wheels and tires, followed by a long-lasting tire shine treatment

Interior Detailing: Deep Car Upholstery Cleaning + Protection

Inside, we cleaned the carpets, seats, storage areas and trim, paying attention to dust trapped in seams and vents.

• Complete vacuuming of carpets, seats, trunk, and mats
• Used a tornador air cleaning tool to agitate dust from vents, seams, and corners
• Second pass with the vacuum to remove loosened debris
• Steam cleaning of high-contact surfaces and fabrics
• Application of plastic and leather-safe cleaners
• Seats treated with UV-protective leather conditioner
• All plastic, vinyl, and dash panels coated with UV interior protectant
• Interior glass cleaned to a streak-free finish

The Honda CR-V was clean and ready for the family trip, with the work completed at home.

Working Around the Weather

Since the weather in Maple Bay is often unpredictable, we brought our detailing canopy, which shields both the vehicle and our chemicals from rain and direct sun. The canopy helps us manage sun exposure and light rain. In heavy rain or a storm, we reschedule in line with our booking policy.

Our current mobile detailing service covers Cowichan Bay and the surrounding Cowichan Valley, including Duncan, Mill Bay and Cobble Hill.
